Examine Dive
For whatever reason, it’s possible that you haven’t gone diving recently. As a qualified diver, you’re ready to go diving once more, but you’re apprehensive about your abilities, which may have diminished a bit. Since you might have lost a habit that used to fit you like a wetsuit and feel like a second skin, you can even feel less secure.
Egventra Divers may help you restore your confidence by updating your knowledge and abilities. We can help you regain your abilities. We’ll reacquaint you with your equipment setup so you can enjoy your diving experiences to the fullest.
Our instructor or divemaster will brush up on your diving skills with the Scuba Review program. You will go over the scuba safety knowledge and techniques you learned in your first training session.
You can expect a detailed structure that will remind you how to handle your equipment setup. You will regain your comfort level with your equipment and fundamental underwater techniques during a pool practice session.
After spending time at the pool with you, we’ll embark on a boat excursion. Your instructor will review a quick quiz to refresh your diving knowledge and assess your familiarity with scuba safety protocols and the material you learned during your initial training while you are sailing to one of our Red Sea dive sites.
After that, your guide will walk you through a detailed refresher and demonstrate how to set up, disassemble, and maintain the equipment. Along with you, he will go over the pre-dive safety (buddy) check.
After you’ve completed that, we’re prepared for your first dive following a lengthy break from the water. You will practice, relive, and review basic scuba skills like regulator recovery and clearing, mask clearing, alternate air source use, and buoyancy practice as your instructor leads you down to a shallow area of sand.
You were a little nervous about going back into the water before our scuba review, but now that you’ve had our “refresher,” you’ll be able to enjoy the amazing underwater world of plants and animals to the fullest.
If you haven’t gone diving for a year or more, we at Hurghada Star Divers require that you finish a scuba review for your protection. When you are at least 10 years old, certified as an Open Water Diver or its equivalent, and able to show your certification card and logbook, you are eligible to take the Scuba Review.
